• Data Backup Responsibility: You are solely responsible for backing up all data, files, and operating systems on your devices before handing them over to Smartline IT. Smartline IT is not responsible for any data loss, operating system corruption, or software recovery arising from diagnostics or repair.
• Device Abandonment: Any hardware, computer, or peripheral left with Smartline IT for repair or troubleshooting that is unpaid or uncollected for more than sixty (60) days after Smartline IT notifies you of service completion will be deemed abandoned. Abandoned items may be recycled, sold, or disposed of at Smartline IT's discretion.
• Authorization for Testing: You authorize Smartline IT to boot, log into, disassemble, test, and make modifications to the hardware and software on your device in the course of diagnosing and repairing your systems.
• Hosting & Uptime Disclaimer: All server, cloud, and database hosting services are provided on a "best-effort" basis. Smartline IT does not guarantee 100% uninterrupted uptime or error-free operations. Smartline IT is not liable for any financial or operational losses resulting from host outages or data transfer failures. Uptime metrics are subject to external data center infrastructure.
• AI Integration & Automation Disclaimer: Custom intelligence and automated tools developed by Smartline IT utilize third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) models and API endpoints. Smartline IT makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated outputs. Clients assume full responsibility for auditing, monitoring, and validating AI workflows deployed within their systems.
• Independent Service Provider Status: Smartline IT is a fully independent repair and technical support business. Smartline IT is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Apple Inc., Microsoft Corporation, Samsung Electronics, Google LLC, or other third-party hardware/software manufacturers. All referenced brand names, logos, or manufacturer marks are utilized strictly for device identification and compatibility references, and remain the sole property of their respective trademark holders.
